Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film is a visual marvel: clockwork forests, chessboard cities collapsing into the sky, and grotesque versions of familiar faces like the Cheshire Cat (voiced by Tilda Swinton) and the Red Queen (Eva Green). But beneath the rich design lies a poignant story about memory, trauma, and reclaiming one’s identity.
