Space Jam 3 (2026)
“The multiverse just got… animated.”
Space Jam 3 (2026) blasts off into wild new territory, combining basketball, interdimensional chaos, and nostalgic cartoon mayhem in the most outrageous chapter yet. This time, NBA superstar Stephen Curry teams up with the Looney Tunes crew — and a few surprise guests — to save not just the game, but the entire cartoon multiverse.
When an AI glitch inside Warner Bros’ animation archives opens portals between dimensions, classic villains and corrupted versions of beloved characters begin invading other worlds. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Lola Bunny recruit Curry after he accidentally crosses over while filming a commercial — and soon, they’re bouncing across animated universes, from vintage black-and-white shorts to sleek futuristic anime-inspired worlds.

Directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious), the film is a visual spectacle: a mix of hand-drawn animation, 3D graphics, and even motion-capture madness. The basketball sequences are more over-the-top than ever, including a zero-gravity slam dunk through a collapsing pixel planet. Zendaya returns as the voice of Lola Bunny, now upgraded with some serious skills and a witty edge.

The film also throws in plenty of meta humor and cameos — from Scooby-Doo to the Iron Giant — and even pokes fun at Warner Bros itself. But beneath the chaos is a simple, heartwarming message about teamwork, legacy, and embracing who you are — whether you’re an NBA MVP or a stuttering pig.

While not everyone will buy into the madness, Space Jam 3 knows exactly what it is: a love letter to animation, basketball, and pure imagination. Kids will cheer, longtime fans will grin, and yes — the soundtrack slaps. Game on, multiverse.
