Tom and Jerry 2 (2025)
“The chase isn’t over — it’s just bigger, louder, and funnier.” 🐱🧀🐭
The world’s most famous cat-and-mouse duo are back in Tom and Jerry 2, a riotous sequel that dials up the chaos, charm, and slapstick energy of the first film. Directed by Tim Story, this follow-up blends live-action and animation with even greater polish, delivering a non-stop comedy adventure for audiences of all ages.

This time, Tom and Jerry’s endless feud crashes into high society when they’re both accidentally invited to a billionaire’s week-long yacht party. Surrounded by luxury, exotic pets, and priceless treasures, the pair can’t resist turning the trip into their personal battlefield — and in doing so, they accidentally stumble into a jewel heist plot led by a pair of bumbling thieves (Awkwafina and Ken Jeong in scene-stealing roles).
The animation is slicker than ever, with Tom and Jerry’s expressive antics seamlessly integrated into lavish real-world settings. The slapstick is pure classic Looney Tunes energy — frying pans, exploding champagne bottles, over-the-top chases across the yacht deck, and an unforgettable sequence involving a grand piano and a very angry parrot.
While the comedy is front and center, the film also sneaks in a bit of heart. Tom and Jerry are still sworn enemies, but when the thieves threaten to steal the yacht’s prized diamond — and frame them for it — the duo reluctantly team up, leading to some of the funniest “cooperative” chaos in the franchise’s history.
Chloë Grace Moretz returns in a smaller role as Kayla, now managing events for the yacht party, and she’s joined by John Cena as the gruff but lovable ship’s captain. The human cast plays it just straight enough to make the animated madness shine.
By the time the film reaches its explosive, confetti-filled finale, Tom and Jerry 2 proves that some rivalries never get old — they just get louder, sillier, and even more fun. A must-see for fans, families, and anyone who loves watching a cat and a mouse make absolute mayhem.
